James Collins

James is a follower of Jesus, author, pastor, columnist, retired U.S. Army Chaplain, husband, and dad. His new book, Restoring the Years, will be available soon on Amazon. James' says, "My calling is to be an effective communicator of God's Word." He has a passion to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. He writes a weekly nationally syndicated newspaper column called The Point Is… Since 2016, he has served as senior pastor of First Southern Baptist Church in Fort Scott, Kansas. He and his wife share their home with their three extraordinary children, a dog, and a lifetime collection of books.
